All the grapes come from La Padorniña, in Villafranca del Bierzo. They are harvested with the utmost care. Once the grapes arrive at the winery, they are macerated for 24/48 hours before beginning alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature. When finished, the wine is transferred to French oak barrels where it is aged for 12 months in the vineyard. Once bottled, it rests for 6 months in the cellar.
